Azure Training

Azure enterprise training: train your administrators on Microsoft cloud

Azure portal, virtual machines, virtual networks, Entra ID, cloud security, and monitoring — practical training in small groups so your IT admins master Azure end to end. We work on your real environment, not on slide decks.

Who is it for?

This training is right for you if...

IT admins in the middle of an Azure migration

Your company is migrating to Azure and your administrators need to upskill quickly. They know system fundamentals but have never administered Microsoft cloud in production. This training gives them the foundations to manage Azure infrastructure autonomously from day one.

IT managers who oversee Azure

You manage an Azure infrastructure but your team lacks a structured approach to security, monitoring, and identity management. You want to standardise practices, reduce risk, and know exactly what is happening in your Azure tenant at all times.

Developers moving to the cloud

You develop applications and are beginning to deploy on Azure. You need to understand the essential Azure resources — VMs, networks, storage, Entra ID — to manage your deployments without systematically depending on a system administrator.

Programme

6 modules to master Azure from top to bottom

Azure Portal and Resource Manager

Getting started with the Azure portal, navigating and organising resources. Understanding Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and resource groups. Managing subscriptions, permissions, and costs with Azure Cost Management. By the end of this module, your admins navigate Azure with confidence and organise resources methodically.

Virtual machines and networking

Creating and configuring Windows and Linux virtual machines. Virtual networks (VNet), subnets, network security groups (NSG), and peering. Load balancing and VPN gateways for hybrid connections. Hands-on practice: deploying a production VM with its network configuration.

Entra ID and identity management

Administering Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD): users, groups, roles, and licences. Multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access, and identity security policies. SaaS application integration and synchronisation with an on-premises Active Directory (Azure AD Connect). This module is central to your environment's security.

Storage and backup

Azure storage types: Blob Storage, File Storage, Disk Storage. Backup strategies with Azure Backup: VMs, databases, files. Disaster recovery plans with Azure Site Recovery. Configuring retention policies and restore points. Hands-on practice: configuring a complete backup strategy.

Monitoring and alerts

Azure Monitor: metrics, logs, and dashboards. Configuring alerts on critical resources (CPU, memory, availability). Log Analytics and KQL queries to analyse security events. Application Insights for web applications. Objective: no silent alerts — every critical incident triggers a notification.

Security and compliance

Microsoft Defender for Cloud: Secure Score, recommendations, and security alerts. Azure Policy and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, GDPR). Secret management with Azure Key Vault. Role-based access control (RBAC) and the principle of least privilege. By the end of this module, your admins know how to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in your tenant.

Process

How does it work?

  1. 01

    Scoping discussion

We discuss your current Azure environment, your admins' level, and your priorities for 30 minutes. We define together the most relevant modules and the appropriate starting level. No commitment required.

  2. 02

    Bespoke programme

You receive a detailed programme: content of each session, labs planned on your tenant, prerequisites, schedule. We adjust based on your real infrastructure so that every exercise is directly applicable.

  3. 03

    Hands-on lab training

4 training days (1 day per week via Teams, 6 participants max). Each session alternates theory and hands-on practice in an Azure lab environment. Between sessions, your admins practise in your real environment with team support.

  4. 04

    Follow-up and autonomy

Certificate of attendance at the end of the module. Active technical support throughout the training and beyond. The goal: admins who manage Azure autonomously, not a badge on a CV.

Customer feedback
« Our team had been managing Azure on instinct since the migration. After the training, each admin knows exactly what they are doing: VMs are organised, alerts are configured, the Secure Score went from 42 to 71. We finally have a cloud infrastructure that makes sense. »
